How do I register a business account?

To open a business account and start receiving mail in Kivra, you need the following:

A Mobile BankID
A private Kivra registered
Be a company signatory
The business form must be Aktiebolag, Handelsbolag, Kommanditbolag, Ekonomisk förening, or BRF. If you have a sole trade company you can use Kivra Private instead.

If you sign the company in consultation, several company signers may need to sign with Mobilt BankID at registration to comply with your company rules at Bolagsverket. When it is fulfilled, your business account opens and your company will then automatically receive mail from connected senders.

Where do I find my Company mail?

To access your company mail you first logg in to your private Kivra. Then click on the icon/your name in the top righthand corner and select the company from the list. If you have several company mailboxes, they will all be visible in the list.

I've activated my business account, which mail will I receive there now?

How are signatories updated in Kivra?

Kivra regularly checks with the Swedish Companies Registration Office to ensure that only authorized signatories can log in to the company. This means that new company signatories automatically gain access to the mailbox and that out-of-date authorizations are removed.

Depending on what is registered in the Swedish Companies Registration Office access will change. It may take a couple of weeks before a change at the Swedish Companies Registration Office is reflected in Kivra Business. If you want it to go even faster, you can contact Kivra support.

How do I know when I have received new mail to my business account?

Each time you receive a new digital letter, you receive an e-mail notification to the e-mail address you have registered.

Therefore, it is important that you have an updated e-mail address registered. This also applies to the persons who have been granted permission because they also receive e-mail notifications for new mail in the business account.

Can my accountant or colleague access the business account?

It is possible to distribute permissions to others in addition to company signers - it is required that the person have a private Kivra and a Mobile BankID.

The permissions are administered under "Settings" and "Permissions and Shares" when logged in to the business account. You can invite people who need to take part in the company's administration.

Note that invited users with permission level 'Read and Manage' can invite new people to the business account. Ultimately, it is the company signers who are responsible for keeping the authorization register up to date. Company signers always have access to the business account, even if for some reason your authorization register was deleted, you can always register again and gain access to the business account again.

We do our utmost to offer a service that is secure at every stage, from verified senders to verified recipients. It's also important to ensure that the right people have access to a mailbox. Having more people access a mailbox is particularly common with Kivra's Corporate Mailboxes. This is often because the company has several signatories, but it can also be due to sharing the mailbox with someone who is not a signatory.

Regardless of the reason, it's important that the right people have access and that the information is kept up to date. Kivra uses data from the Swedish Companies Registration Office to find out who are the signatories for a particular company. When a Corporate Mailbox is created, we ask the Swedish Companies Registration Office who are the signatories for the company in question and then ensure that all the signatories get access to the mailbox. We also ask the Swedish Companies Registration Office continuously about who are the current signatories, so that access to a mailbox is always kept up to date.

When you change signatories in your company, it's important that you contact the Swedish Companies Registration Office and notify them about this. Kivra then updates the current signatories in the Corporate Mailbox within a week after the information is updated at the Swedish Companies Registration Office.

If in the future you should lose access to a mailbox you want access to, we ask you to contact the other signatories in the company who can invite you. If something is incorrect, you need to contact the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
