New rules relating to Covid Certificates
The EU regulation on COVID certificates was valid until June 30, 2023, which means that the Swedish eHealth Agency ceased issuing COVID certificates on July 1, 2023. In May, the WHO announced its assessment that COVID-19 no longer meets the conditions to be considered an international health emergency. As a result, the EU regulation on COVID certificates will not be extended. Within the EU/EEA, no countries require COVID certificates for entry.
