"Finally" time to file your taxes?
It is what it is. Not the most fun, but quite important. And maybe you'll get some money back? With us, you'll know quickly. Get Kivra by March 1 2026, so your tax return (and other important boring stuff) comes digitally instead.

What's the deal with digital tax filing?
You get notified quickly
Many hope for a tax return. And with us, you find out sooner than with paper mail. Why wait?
Always with you
Anywhere, anytime – the tax return is where you are. You don't have to keep track and wonder where it went.
Kind to the environment
Do you like trees? So do we. When you get Kivra, you receive lots of boring stuff digitally instead of as paper mail. Better for everything and everyone, actually.

When does the tax return come, then?
It depends on whether you receive it digitally or on paper. But since you don't want to wait unnecessarily long, you'll surely get Kivra right now. In that case, the tax return will arrive between March 2-6. If you prefer paper, it will instead come between March 16 to April 15.

You want your money back fast?
Then we have good news. Because often, you can influence how early you receive your tax refund. To get it as quickly as possible (meaning between April 7-10), you need to approve the tax return without any changes by March 31 at the latest. The money needs somewhere to land, so don't forget to register your bank account with the Swedish Tax Agency.

A crash course in declaring
Alright, how does this work in practice then? We'll try to explain that. Often, it's easier than you think. If you make no changes, you can actually file your tax return with just a few clicks. First, you get Kivra, then it works like this:
Check all the details and approve On the tax return, you'll see lots of numbers. First, you need to check that everything looks correct. If everything seems to be in order, simply approve the tax return with the Swedish Tax Agency. However, in some cases, you may need to make additions and changes, such as if you've sold a property. You can learn more about how that works here.
You'll receive your final tax assessment Now, the Swedish Tax Agency has reviewed your tax return and calculated your final tax, which you'll see in black and white in your final tax assessment.
Receive a refund or pay The big question, will you get money back for Easter or a boring tax bill? Hopefully, it's the former. If you're due a refund, it'll be sent to the account you've notified to the Swedish Tax Agency. However, if you owe tax, you can pay it to the Swedish Tax Agency's bankgiro or with Swish.

What about standard reductions?
Good question. If you know the answer, this is not for you. But if you think the declaration might be a bit complicated in terms of language, we have translated some concepts into sentences you can understand.

Spend less time on boring things.
We stand for a simpler way to be an adult. Paying the bills, storing receipts, collecting letters, and keeping track of things. Maybe you find this kind of thing fun, probably not. Regardless, we have become experts in the mundane so you can spend your time on other things. Do like half of Sweden and gather your life in Kivra.
