There are choices for set and variable amounts, or down payments. And, in general invoices are paid faster when received in Kivra than the paper variety.

Variable amount
With variable amount senders offer their customers the option of paying an amount of their choice, within a range defined by the sender. When using variable amount the sender has to include metadata for "min_amount" to set the payment range that is to be made available to the recipient.
Multiple payment options
With multiple payment options senders can offer their customers a payment plan or perhaps converting the invoice to paying in installments, not the least to increase the possibility to upsell. The sender can vary for example descriptions, amount and dates.
