Information about sensitive personal data in Kivra+

When you use Kivra+ you can choose which document you upload and you can name uploaded documents and categories. If you choose to upload documents or use names that reveal e.g. information about your political opinions, your membership in a trade union, information about your health or information about your sex life, this means that Kivra processes sensitive personal information about you.

Sensitive personal data is data about:

  • ethnic origin
  • political opinions
  • religious or philosophical beliefs
  • membership in a trade union
  • health
  • a person’s sex life or sexual orientation
  • genetic data
  • biometrical data used for uniquely identifying a person

Some examples of how sensitive personal data can be introduced in Kivra+ are if you:

  • Pay your membership fee to an association with a certain religious or political purpose in Kivra+.
  • Name the categories you create in a way that contains sensitive personal data, e.g. "My cancer treatment".

If you want to use Kivra+ features in such a way that sensitive personal data about you is introduced into the service, you need to give your consent for sensitive personal data to be processed by Kivra. Kivra will only process the sensitive personal data to provide you with the functionality included in Kivra+, and not for any other purposes.

If you do not want sensitive personal data about you to be processed in Kivra+, we ask you not to upload content with sensitive personal data and to categorise your content in such a way that you avoid creating sensitive personal data.

You choose if you want to give your consent. You can revoke or give your consent at any time via the settings in the Kivra app.
